Please Note: Our rental terms include a premium for short term lets or for the first 6 months (26 weeks) of a longer term let.(However over 12 months you will have paid the long term rental rate on average)
For example, suppose the short tem rental is £15 per week and the long term rental is £10 per week. For the first 26 weeks you will pay £15
26 X £15 = £390
However if you keep the garage for 52 weeks total, ie a further 26 weeks, these will be charged at £5 per week making the average rental £10 per week over the full year.
26 X £5 = £130 so the total you will have paid for the year is
£390 + £130 = £520 making the average rental £10 per week.
Should you decide to renew the contract then you will be accepted as a long term let and you will be charged £10 per week for each of the 52 weeks.
Rents will not be reviewed until the third year.
Rents are to be paid in advance, quarterly (other terms by negotiation). No deposit will be requested if payment is quarterly in advance. A notice period of one month is required from either side to finish the contract early. Advance over payments will then be refunded without delay.
